My grandmother identified the young man as her grandfather, James Warren Sargent, born 1831 in NY. He moved to Lenawee Co, MI before 1854, where he married Helen Mar Cary. Helen was born in 1835 in Onondaga Co, NY. They lived in Hudson, Medina Twp., Lenawee Co, MI before moving to Hillsdale Co, MI.
