Ralph Crane was born in Ohio in 1874. Ralph and his brothers, Clyde and Coy Crane, were the sons of Edward Crane and Henrietta (Cottrell) Crane. After their parents separated and Henrietta died, the brothers were raised by their aunt and uncle, Josephine and Courtland Sargent. Ralph Crane died in 1933 and is buried in Fulton Co, Ohio at the Fairview Cemetery.
