Josephine (Cottrell) Sargent, Clyde Crane and Courtland Sargent Left to Right: Josephine (Cottrell) Sargent, Clyde Crane and Courtland Sargent. Clyde Crane is the son of Josephine's sister, Henrietta (Cottrell) Crane, who died probably before 1901. Clyde and his two brothers were raised by Josephine and Courtland after Henriette's death. Their father, Edward, left and never returned.
