This conveyance is made to correct error in name in Deed of date August 27, 1898 and of Record in Office of Register of Deeds for Hillsdale in Liber 137, of Deeds on page 388. Said land should have been deeded to James W. SERGEANT and by error was deeded to party of first part. Also to correct spelling of name, SERGEANT instead of SARGEANT, the said Warren SEARGEANT being the same person as Warren SARGEANT.

 
Probate Record: File No. 4590 of Hillsdale County Probate Records. James W. SERGEANT, Dec'd. Estate of…The files pertaining to the estate of said deceased set forth that said deceased died on April 2, 1906 leaving no last will and testament. Warren H. SERGEANT was appointed Administrator of said Estate on September 11, 1907. His bond was approved and Letters of Administration were to him issued on February 13, 1908. Inventory was filed on May 16, 1908 and lists, "Farm of 80 acres, W ½ of NE ¼ Sec. 12 Woodbridge." Order allowing final account and assigning the estate of said deceased was issued on May 16, 1908. Said Administrator was discharged and his bond cancelled on May 16, 1908.

I, Jeremiah H. Sargent of Eaton Rapids City, Eaton County, State of Michian being of sound and disposing mind & Testiment hereby revoking all former Wills by me dad at any time heretofore made.

It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by him be found convenient.

I hereby give and devise unto my beloved brother Charles H. SARGENT all of my real estate known & described as follows to wit: Lot 5 Block 3 in Leonard and Crane Addition to the City of Eaton Rapids and all other real estate of which I may die seized to have and to hold to him & his heir and assigns forever. I also give and bequeath to my honored friend Warren Homer SARGENT (he being the son of my honored nephew Warren SARGENT all of my personal estate with exception hereafter mentioned consisting principaly of one ceartain real estate mortgage now held by me against Warren SARGENT as Mortgagor for the sum of Four Hundred and Ten (410) Dollars the same being recorded at the County seat of Hillsdale County, Michigan.

I also give & bequeath to my respected brother Ira H. SARGENT the sum of Five (5) dollars the same to be paid out of my personal estate.

All other property not herein mentioned of which I May die sciased I wish to be divided eaqually amont the aforesaid persons.

And lastly I do nominate and appoint Fred J. SLAYTON of Eaton Rapids City to be the Executor of my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof the said Jerrymiah H. SARGENT have to this my last Will and Testament subscribed my name this 27th day of May A.D. 1889.

To Fred J. SLAYTON of said County. Greeting.
Whereas Jeremiah H. SARGENT lately departed this life testate being at the time of his death an inhabitant of Eaton Rapids City in the County of Eaton. And whereas at a session of said Probabe Court holden at Charlotte in said County on the 11th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine the last Will and testament of said deceased (a copy whereof is hereto annexed) was duly proved approved and allowed wherein yhou are appointed executor thereof.

By reason whereof the power of committing administration and full disposition of all and singular the goods chattels rights credits and estate whereof the said deceased died possesseon in the State of Michigan and also the hearing examing and allowing the account of such administration doth appeartain unto me and you have given a bond in the premises which has been duly approved and filed as required by law in that behalf.

Now Therefore trusting in your care and fidelity I do by these presents commit unto you the said Fred J. SLAYTON full power and authority to administer and faithfully dispose of according to law and the Will of the said Testator all and singular the goods chattels rights credits and estate of said deceased within the State of Michigan which shall come at any time to your possession or to the peossession of any other person for you and to ask gather levy recover and receive all the goods chattels rights credits and estate whatsoeverof said deceased which to him while he lived and at the time of his death did belong and to pay and discharge all debts legacies and charges chargeable on the same or such dividends thereon as shall be ordered and decreed by said Court hereby requiring you to make and return to said Court witin thirty days a true and perfect inventory of all the goods chattels rights credits and real estate of said deceased which shall come to your possession or knowledge or to the possession of any other person for you and also to render a just and true account of your administration to said Court within one year and at any other time when required by said Court and to perform all orders and decrees of said Court by you to be performed in the premises.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the seal of said Probate Court at Charlotte the 11th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine.

Christian FINK, Dec'd. Estate of

The files pertaining to the estate of said deceased set forth that said deceased died on March 17, 1912 leaving a last will and testament.

Said Will was admitted to probate and Henry FINK and Andrew FINK were appointed Executors on April 17, 1912.

Their bond was approved and Letters Testamentary were to them issued on April 17, 1912.

Inventory was filed on April 30, 1912 and lists, "W. SARGENT Mort. $980 Int. 3/7 2.14 $982.14."

A bond to take place of the one filed on April 17, 1912, was approved and filed on May 17, 1917.

Order allowing final account etc. was issued on February 11, 1919.

Said Executors were discharged and his bond cancelled on February 24, 1919.
