We now believe the woman, in this photo is Alice Adel (Cary) Ashley, b. in 1854, the daughter of Martin & Achsah (Benson) Cary, and sister of Helen M (Cary) Sargent. After many hours of comparing this photo with her known photo (Woman 23), we believe that she is one and the same. She may also be the woman in Group 10 with her husband, William Devillion Ashley.
