THE WILL OF MATHIAS WHITENIGHT Dated February 24, 1888 Aug 16, 1811 - 1897

      I Mathias Whitenight of the township of Hemlock, County of Columbia and state of Pennsylvania, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making viod all former will by me at any time heretofore made and first: And as to such worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows: First I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible, out of the first moneys that shall come nto the hands of my Executors from any portions of my Estate real or personal:

     Also I direct that a fair valuation or appraisment be made of all my said Estate, including my personal property and after being signed with their names, that a copy of the same shall be given by them to each of my Executors. Also, I direct that all my property be sold at public auctions for good currant money, and that all the real estate of which I shall died seised or possessed shall be sold by my Executors for its reasonable value for like currant money, or on such credit and that amount thereof secured in such manner as is usual in like cases, to insure the full and punctual payment thereof, and to effectuate this my intentions, I do hereby vest in my Executors full power and authority to dispose of my real Estae in fee simple or for a term of years or otherwise in as full and large a manner in every respect as I could myself do if living. Also I do direct that all the money as soon as it shall be collected from any portion of my Estate, shall be divided amongst my several children as follows, towit:
   I give bequeath to my son Henry William Whitenight, three humdred and fifty ($350) dollars less than a full shar.
   To my daughter, Rebecca Tanner's children sixty four dollars ($64) less than a full share.
   To my daughter Mariah Catharine Heller one full share.
   To my daughter Mary Howell one full share.
   To my duaghter Mahala Smith one full share.
   To my son Mathias Whitenight one full share.
   To my daughter Susanna Frain noe full share.
   To Isaiah McLellan one full share.
   Ind I hereby make and ordain my two sons Mathias Whitenight and Isaiah McL. Whitenight - Executors of this my last will and testament. In witness wherof, I Mathias Whitenight the testator, have to this my will, set my hand and seal this twentyfourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight.
