This really big rolling pin, approximately 26 inches, was made for Yelena (Helen) by a friend, before she left Yugoslavia in 1921. She was 19 years old. It must have had special meaning for her to include it in her baggage, as she was traveling alone and nine months pregnant. It was passed down in her Nokovich family, and is now in the posession of her great granddaughter, Amanda.
