Thomas was born Oct. 11, 1841 at Derrs, Jackson twp, Columbia Co, Pennsylvania. He died on May 16, 1929 at Ekton, Chandler twp, Huron Co, Michigan. He was the 7th of 11 children born to George Edel Farver and Catherine Young. Harriet Eveline Arter was born Jan 16, 1846 in Pennsylvania and died Nov. 5, 1917 at Kinde, Dwight twp, Huron Co, Michigan. They were married on May 17, 1862 in Jackson, Columbia Co, Pennsylvania.
The photo was taken on their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1922.
