Emerson J Waterstripe married Bessie Alice (Roberts) Wandel on Feb 22, 1944. He was born Aug 23, 1883 in Clarence, Shelby Co, Missouri. She was born December 1889 in Sugarloaf twp, Luzerne Co, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Samuel Paul Roberts and Mary Catherine Welliver. She first married Robert Wandel on Apr 24, 1918. They had two sons, Russell and Sheldon Roberts. Robert died on Oct 9, 1926, just eight and a half years after their marriage. Bessie then married Emerson J Waterstripe. Emerson died in Oct 1965. Bessie died Jun 20, 1968
