| CLARA WOODRING PAINTINGS |
|
Clara Adda Woodring, born in 1915, the daughter of Edward Frank Woodring and Emma Jane Sponenberg, spent many summers at an eastern Pennsylvania Evangelical Congregational Campground called Waldheim. Recently, Gail Yost sent us two paintings, done by Clara Woodring. They are done in a "palette-knife" technique, on small black metal shadowbox frames, that picture a small mine-hole lake, at Waldheim, as well as the meeting place there. It is our wish, as well as Gail's, to pass these paintings on to close members of Clara Woodring's family. Please write me if you are related to Clara and wish to reunite her works, with her close relatives.
