His mother, Miriam Elaine (Farver) (Dadovich) Fairman stands behind John. She was also born in Flint in 1921. Miriam's mother, Ruth Elizabeth (Christian) Farver, stands on the right of the picture. She was born in 1898 in Bloomsburg, Columbia Co, Pennsylvania and died in 1965 in Flint. Her father, Harry Orman Christian, stands beside her in the center of the photo. He was born May 4, 1879 in Berwick, Columbia Co, Pennsylvania.
Harry's mother, Sarah E Hockman, is seated beside her great great grandson, John. Sarah was born in 1858 in Reading, Berks Co, Pennsylvania. She died on Jun 27, 1947, soon after this photo was taken.
