July 31, 1766 By virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias to me directed, will be exposed to sale, at public vendue, to the highest bidder, on Wednesday, the 10th day of September next, on the premises, between the hours of twelve and five o'clock in the afternoon, one plantation, situate in Amwell, noted for the best wheat land in the province, containing 148 acres of land, more or less, bounded by land of JOHN OPDYKE, RICHARD KITCHEN, and others, on which is a large stone house, two stories high, four rooms on a floor, a lage entry through the house, with cellars underneath the whole, also an overshot grist-mill, supplied with water from living springs, a good barn, stables, cow house, milk house, a fine young orchard, an excellent piece of clover meadow in front of the house, which may be watered by water from the mill, in the driest seasons; there is also a frame house on the said lands. Also to be sold the same day, between the hours of twelve and five of the clock, a lot of land, containing 8 acres, more or less, on which there is a convenient place for a fulling(?) mill, in a fine country for that business. About three acres of the above mention lot is excellent meadow, late the property of JACOB ARNWINE. Also will be sold the same day, to begin at one of the clock, two cows, feather beds and furniture, black walnut chest of drawers, tables, chairs, pewter plates and batons, hand-irons, tea kettles, iron pots and sundry other things, too tedious to mention here; late the property, and now in the possession of Joseph Howell; seized and taken in execution at the suit of Thomas Pryor junior, the executors of EBENEZER LARGE deceased, and others, and are to be sold again, by reason the first purchaser cannot comply with the conditions of the vendue, by Samuel TUCKER, late Sheriff
