In the year of Our Lord, 1847, on the 2nd day of August, in the 10th hour of the morning, died in Hayna, with all the sacramental last rites provided, John Jacob STRITZINGER, farmer in Hayna, and unfortunate widower of the late/deceased Maria Anna WINGERTER. His age at death was 70 years, and who on the 3rd day of August, as witnessed by the Rev. in Christ, Laumann from Kandel, was laid to rest in the local Catholic Cemetery in the 10th hour of the morning.
