It is unknown the exact reason for the warnings out, however, among the most common reasons are that the family is unable to pay their way; or they are planning to move to another town, or state; and they are asked to leave if they are considered incorigibles, who were no longer welcome in town. It is likely, in this case, a move was planned since migration was common for this family.
