Emmet P Squires was born Nov 25, 1865 in Wayne Co., Ohio to Manlius Squires and Esther Stanton. Around 1890, he met Pluma Love, the daughter of Albert Love and Abby D Scoville. Together they had Birdie Doris Squires about 1891 in Nebraska.

Outside influences kept them from marriage, so Emmet eventually married Jessie Kleinbouer October 1, 1892 in Juneau Co., Wisconsin, the daughter of Michael and Josie Kleinbauer. Nothing more is found on "Jessie", however, "Julie Kleinbauer", daughter of Michael and Josie Kleinbauer was born 1876 and died in 1894.

If, in fact, his wife died in 1894, it was 10 years before Emmet Squires married again. In abt. 1904 in Wisconsin, he married Casilda Matilda Drawer, born in Germany in 1931. This marriage produced 3 children before Emmet lost this third partner. Casilda died in 1931 in Wisconsin, survived Emmet and three sons; Colonel E Squire b. abt. 1905; Seth Eldon Philip Squire b. Mar 07, 1906; and Leonard H Squire born in 1910 and died Aug 14, 1966 in Madison, Dane Co, Wisconsin.

About two years later, on Aug 15, 1933, Emmet Squire married a third time to Ida (McClellan) Tanner. She was born Dec 20, 1867 in Hillsdale Co, Michigan. The marriage took place in Steuben Co, Indiana. Emmet died Nov. 4, 1950 and is buried in Cashton, Monroe Co, Wisconsin's Meon cemetery.
