HOENER FAMILY HISTORY
[Original by Helga Zuendt]

EXCITING NEWS!
The Original Hoener Family History Found

THANKS to Patrick and Mary Jo Hoener, we have the original Hoener Family History again! This is the very history that intrigued me, as a child, and sparked my interest in genealogy. When I read that my 3rd great uncle died in a duel in Lucca, Italy, I was hooked. Because I was "just a child", I didn't receive a copy of my own, so I carefully copied all five pages, of my grandmother's, and held onto them for the next forty years, always wishing I could have had an original. Over the last few years, the family has tried to locate a copy of the original, with no success. We were convinced that one didn't exist, until Patrick Hoener discovered a copy among the papers of his father and shared it with his sister, who knew I would be ecstatic. YIPPIE! Thanks guys!

Prepared by cousins Helga Zuendt and Albert E Hoener
Hildagard (Oelgarth) Zuendtafter and daughter,
Helga traveled to Germany and her husband
to research the Hoener ancestry.

NOTE: Apparently the authors of this document, believed that the Zuccalmaglio family resided in the Lombardy region of Italy. Actually, the family lived in Caprino Veronese, in Verona, in the province of Veneto, which neighbors Lombardy.
