.....about the story of Irene, Charles 3rd wife. Our family has heard the same story, about Charles being unfaithful to Hattie, which probably caused her to commit suicide. Because of the date of her death and the birth of Irene's 1st child, I am not sure she committed suicide because she found out Irene was expecting. There are about 3 years, I believe, between the two events. Perhaps just because of the affair. Who knows?!"
